Guys I’m taking a holiday this next year in Feburary and I’m trying to decide between two golf clubs. I was hoping you could give me your recommendation on whether it would be a greater challenge playing Sandhurst champions/north (either is an option) or settlers run. If it was up to me I would play all but as me and the boys must drive up to brisbane within a week, we must make tracks on the roads. we are both solid golfers off 14 and 8. So punishing courses only excite us.
please let me know your recommendation!
cheers!
Ben,
Would recommend Settlers Run over Sandhurst. Settlers is a challenging Greg Norman championship layout set in undulating terrain, well bunkered and a number of creeks, water hazards to deal with. Sandhurst is a decent layout but underwhelming. If you had the time, would also recommend the wealth of choice on the Mornington Peninsula, including The Dunes, Moonah Links Legends, Portsea, and the National.
