Greg Norman won his second British Open 15 years ago, and was only playing in The Open to get a bit of practice for the Seniors British Open! The Shark is now a spritely 53 years old and leading the Open by two shots going into the final round.
Many hours of sleep [...]

The legend of Tiger Woods career inked another chapter last weekend as he played the final rounds, and an 18 hole playoff with Rocco Mediate in obvious pain thanks to a dodgy knee.  It wasnt until he had won on the first extra hole of the 18 hole playoff (the 91st hole!), that he revealed [...]

Half way point in the US Open at Torrey Pines.  The coverage is not ideal, every single practice swing and shot taken by Tiger or Phil is shown and replayed, meanwhile the rest of the field gets occassional airtime.  Even Adam Scott playing with the super twosome is only shown now and then.  Sure, Tiger [...]

Immers wins the Masters
Trevor Immelman lead the US Masters from start to finish, eventually winning by a comfortable 3 shots. Though he would have had the heart thumping out of his shirt after hitting into the water on 16 to double bogey just as Tiger birdied the last. Immers held it together down the final [...]

“And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night, and he’s watchin’ us all in the eye of the tiger….” – Surely Survivor had a Nostradamus like prediction and were singing about Tiger Woods back in 1982!! Tiger smashed the field at the Buick Invitational to win by 8 shots. [...]
Craig Parry showed yesterday that persistence pays off in winning the 2007 Australian Open at the 24th attempt. “Popeye” held off final day challenges from O’hern as well as young guns Snedeker and Lee to take a one shot victory. Nice one Paz, a genuine nice guy and always faithful to his home tour.

Badds (Aaron Baddeley) won the Australian Masters on the weekend after a tense four hole playoff with Swede Daniel Chopra. The two went up and down the long 18th hole four time before they could be seperated. Also in the mix with 9 to play were Barnes, Pampling and Appleby, but the putter [...]
