After recently playing the Heritage Golf and Country Clubs’ Henley Course, I’ve added another Tony Cashmore designed layout to my list of favourite courses. Tony Cashmore has designed numerous layouts throughout Australia,
Yarrambat Park – A public course in North Eastern Melbourne, fantastic layout let down by a lack of water and [...]

Played golf today for the first time in a couple of months, and it showed. Rob and I headed to Waterford Valley Golf Course in Rowville.
Both started off well, I hit the first two greens in regulation but ominously 3 putted both after putting the approaches a LONG way from the [...]
Some days just aren’t meant for golf (sad but true!). Today was one of those days. Second round of the Herald Sun Matchplay, paired against Cameron a tennis teacher from Heidelberg Golf Club. With no practice since the last round, the swing felt closer to an axe swinging into wood than [...]

Playing ambrose, our team played well but bogeyed [...]

The third hole, 482 metre par 5

Following on [...]

Yesterday was invited by Ben and Cam (his bro in law) to play at Long Island Country Club near Frankston. A traditional sandbelt layout (6205m Par 72) with undulating fairways, quick and true greens, big contoured ball sucking bunkers and deep tea-tree rough. We played as a team of two in a bestball [...]

Had the unique opportunity to play in the 2005 Australian Open Pro-Am at Moonah Links. Teed off with Scottish pro, Jack Doherty on the 6th hole (tough Par 4). Slightly nervy sliced opening tee-shot was followed by some pretty good golf from our team. I parred 5 holes all up with most [...]
