Fog & Golf

Arrived at my local course for an early tee time to be greeted by a scene more reminiscent of the Scottish Moors.  Saturday morning had transformed the Growling Frog Golf Course to the Growling Fog!   The thick blanket of fog delayed the first group by almost an hour as players waited for the visibility to improve enough to see the fairway ahead.  Even then the first nine presented some unique challenges, many ‘blind’ tee shots and some key swing analysis to estimate trajectory and vague location of the ball!

Fog and golf do not make a great combination but make for some interesting imagery

    Hi Doogs

What absolutely beautiful pictures! And exactly as you say, they really look more like Scotland than Australia. A scene to be viewed by the lucky few who make it up and onto the course in the early hours. Nothing like a bit of a twist on your game!

    I hope it was enjoyed.

Wow those are some incredible shots. Nice wide open course. Love the shot with the buggy tracks!
