Australian Open Golf – Adam Scott wins
December 7th, 2009 by Doogs
Adam Scott won his maiden title on home soil winning the Australian Open at New South Wales by 5 shots from Stuart Appleby. At the presentation, Greg Norman whispered “About bloody time”, and many agree. Scott has one of the games best swings, we’d all like the mechanics of Scott’s swing, which has been compared to … that really good golfer who is in the news at the moment. Scott didnt play the best in the final round, but managed to match 5 bogeys with 5 birdies. Appleby couldnt repeat his form from the first two rounds.
One thing Scott does need to work on is his putting (and Im not one to talk) but to go that next step, you cant be taking 31 putts in the final round of a major tournament, he missed some sitters. Scott has had a year to forget, so hopefully this victory can kick start 2010, next step is a Major!

It is very happy to hear that Adam Scott has won his Australian Open title on home soil. I think he can achieve more.
yeah, i agree with you, Scott has one of the games best swings,.
