Twilight Golf at Yarra Bend

Headed to Yarra Bend Golf Course after work yesterday for a round of golf with Nige. Yarra Bend offers unlimited golf on a weekday from 3pm for just $15.
We teed off just after 5:30pm, a couple of solo golfers ahead of us, no-one behind. Great conditions, clear and a bit of wind to make it interesting. Yarra Bend is one of the closest courses to the Melbourne CBD and gets a lot of traffic, its also in excellent condition. The greens are good for a public course, fairways consistent and the rough in places in nasty, but then, its called rough for a reason.
We cruised around 18 holes in just under 3 hours, both hitting the ball pretty well. My inconsistency is peaking at the moment, able to string together a couple of pars, then hack a couple and so it goes. The driver is developing an ugly weak hook, cause for concern!
Will definitely head back to Yarra Bend for another golf strategy meeting. Monday and Tuesday nights are the pick, apparently later in the week twilight golf gets busy
