The world’s “Awesome eight” golf courses
December 24th, 2007 by Doogs
Stumbled across this site in my web travels, a few years ago a couple of guys obviously with time and money decided to play golf’s “Awesome eight” courses, a part endurance, part adventure fund raising challenge. The awesome eight courses were:
- Most Northerly North Cape, Norway
- Most Southerly Ushuaia, Argentina
- Highest La Paz, Bolivia
- Lowest Furnace Creek, California
- Hottest Alice Springs, Australia
- Coldest North Star, Alaska
- Toughest Ko’olau, Hawaii
- Greatest St Andrews, Scotland
Possibly a ‘King Challenge’ of the future?
