Have seen a new competition “The Worlds Best Putter” promoted recently. Through a series of regional and State qualifiers, finalists will be chosen to compete in a purpose built putting stadium and putt off for the Australian final (sounds like a golfing version of the Iron Chef !), and then apparently a global final.   Interesting concept, but will hundreds of people flock to a stadium to watch amateurs putt? Time will tell I guess.

I dont think I’ll be making the final given the pre-requisite is the ability to consistently hole putts!
