Badds (Aaron Baddeley) won the Australian Masters on the weekend after a tense four hole playoff with Swede Daniel Chopra. The two went up and down the long 18th hole four time before they could be seperated. Also in the mix with 9 to play were Barnes, Pampling and Appleby, but the putter got the best of them and they fell back to the field leaving Badds and Choppa. Chopra, visibly shaking, missed the par putt to go to a fifth hole.

Kurt Barnes did have a win, taking the golfers fashion stakes from Badds. Badds of the big white belts and Grandpa’s wardrobe pants, was no match for Barnes who must have broken into some of the Americans lockers in the US and strode the fairways on Saturday in a wonderful red, white and grey checked pair of slacks. Not to be outdone, he pulled on some black and white striped pants for Sunday. Badds looked conservative in comparison!
