Lazy 9 at Yarrambat

Played a late nine holes at Yarrambat Park Golf Course this afternoon. Blue sky, warm, slight breeze, perfect for golfing. Jack, Kim and I escaped thanks to Nicks generous offer to look after the four kids whilst we hit the course. Didnt take much convincing.
Jack and Kim got off the tee well, though my first two shots were not good escaping with a 5. Ditched the driver for the hybrid off the tee with instant results, a regulation par. Then saved a par from nowhere on the 4th, three putted for bogey on the par 3 5th, then went par, par, par, birdie to finish with a 38. Short game was particularly impressive today. Yes, it was from the social tees, but still pretty happy that the form is staying around!
Jack played about 9 shots better than our last outing, and Kim’s classic swing kept her out of trouble for most of the round. The course was in reasonably good condition, fairways are patchy but then it is a drought, the green were much quicker than the last time i played there.
