To the truly fanatical golfer, a golf course viewed from above is a work of art, a masterpiece of interconnecting golf holes on a natural canvas. Golf World Map is a great Google Maps mashup using the brilliance of Googles aerial maps. The site has a pretty comprehensive listing of Australian courses.
Augusta National
With the world’s best currently chasing the Green Jacket at the Masters this weekend, here is Augusta National from above. You can almost see the Magnolia’s, and its certainly Masters green!
Banff Springs
A masterpiece from the air, spectacular to play. Played Banff Springs with Steve about 10 years ago, snow capped mountains, roaring rivers, roaming elk made keeping focus on the golf game difficult!
