A nothing sort of round

Played comp today at the Growling Frog golf course, it was Fourball bestball stableford. So paired up with another club member, Damian and teed off as most of Melbourne still slept! The driver and long irons had lost their uncharacteristic accuracy of last round. But my short game lesson definitely helped keep the scoring reasonable.
It was a nothing sort of round though, my partner was having a shocker, so I needed to keep the scoring ticking over. Driving was average, long irons average, short game good to average, putting average. Had only 3 pars, but then didnt have any blowouts either. No memorably great holes, but no shockers. Highlight was definitely some of my approach wedge shots which were simply not possible pre-lesson. Thanks Wayne!
