Well, virtually every other PGA pro on the US Tour. As the Armchair golfer notes, Tiger is good, very good, but there is no-one out there who is pushing him. When Tiger leads, he wins. And as in the recent WGC he shifts into cruise mode and does what it takes as there is no-one pushing him to take risks.

Golf Digest recently analysed how Tigers playing partners had fared against him over the last 10 years. Of all pro’s who have played 5 or more rounds paired with Tiger. Only Padraig Harrington has an advantage over Tiger. How is that for fear factor!!

On the Aussie front, its was fantastic to see four Australians in the final top 10 at the WGC at Doral, Allenby stormed home on the final day to finish four shots back alongside Geoff Ogilvy. The Badds was a shot further back with Nick O’Hern (who is not afraid of Tiger, especially in Matchplay!). Is this the year for an Aussie to slip on the green jacket?

I wonder if privately Trevino, Watson, Miller and other Nicklaus challengers wish they could have teed it up with Tiger when they were in their prime. My guess would be yes.
