Australia Day on the course

Celebrated Australia Day with a round of golf with Jack (or was that Frank!) at Rosebud Park Golf Course.  The course is a true ‘hidden gem’ of the Mornington Peninsula (see review).   Sensational weather, slight wind and warm.  We teed off early and after a wicked slice off the first tee and then 3 putts on the 2nd and 3rd settled with a par on the 4th and 7th.  Improved on the back nine with 3 more pars and a birdie, and only 15 putts.  Carded a 14 over, 84 which was pretty happy about.  Really enjoyable round on a short but enjoyable layout.

Driver through to 8 iron is working pretty well over the last few rounds, but still need a lot of work on anything from about 110 metres out, plus chipping and pitching lets me down.
