Paul Casey (ranked 11th in the World) defeated Shaun Micheel (ranked 56) to win the recent World Matchplay Championships. Casey won by a crushing 10&8. Only a couple of days earlier, Micheel had easily defeated the best player in the World (His Tigerness).

Recently jetted down to Launceston (Tasmania) for a weekend with mate Scott. Primary reason for this boys weekend was to watch our respective football teams, Hawthorn and Kangaroos, duke it out in a Round 21 clash between 14th and 13th place!!

Some days just aren’t meant for golf (sad but true!). Today was one of those days. Second round of the Herald Sun Matchplay, paired against Cameron a tennis teacher from Heidelberg Golf Club. With no practice since the last round, the swing felt closer to an axe swinging into wood than [...]

Tiger Woods racked up his 50th win on the PGA tour with a comfortable 3 shot victory over a fast finishing Jim Furyk. He sets the record as the youngest player (30) to win 50 tournaments and he did so in the fewest starts (196). Even the Golden Bear needed another 3 [...]
