Badds wins in the US
April 17th, 2006 by Doogs
Badds (Aaron Baddeley) has finally broken the drought after a couple of seasons on the US tour, winning the Heritage at Harbour Town. Badds, well known for his big belt buckles, bright pants, devout Christianity and back to back Australian Opens, went toe to toe with Jim Furyk over the closing 9 holes.
Furyk, who has a swing of a 19 handicapper, missed a few crucial putts with Badds taking birdie on two of the toughest holes on the course. At the end, Badds finished a shot ahead of Furyk to take the title.
Well done Badds!
