King Challenge Melbourne

Melbourne will be hosting one of the biggest sporting events of the year in 2006. The King Challenge is on again for 2006, with Melbourne winning the right to host the Challenge in February. Itinerary is yet to be finalised but will look something like this.

Friday 24th February Round 1 – The National Golf Club Overnight: Rye

Saturday 25th February Round 2 – The Dunes Golf Course Evening – Drinks for Mike’s 40th

Sunday 26th February Round 3 – Growling Frog Golf Course

Potential players in the Challenge include tour veterans Mike Hauser and Steve DaCosta, Rich Bondietti, Simon Cummins, Andrew Millar and Aaron Baddeley (tbc). Appearance money is not enough to entice Challenge regulars Rohan Tudor and Andrew Bennett, whilst Kel ‘The Jones Boy’ Jones will never play on a Challenge outside Canberra again.
